Nuisance Animal Trapping and Relocation

They creep in the shadows with cunning and wile; pesky opossums, skunks and raccoons are omnivorous, nocturnal and resourceful and do in fact thrive in urban settings. If you are seeking services for these pesky creatures, you must already be familiar with the mischief and havoc they can bring upon your property, your home or business.

Not to make too much of it, but you can say we follow the "Kipling Method" when identifying a nuisance animal issue--"I keep six honest serving-men (They taught me all I knew); their names are What and Why and When and How and Where and Who".

Janus Pest Management will work to restore a little order around your home or business. We first inspect the site to determine whether raccoon removal or maybe skunk removal, etc. is required.  We will stage a humane live-capture trap near animal runs or nesting sites. Traps are supplied with a lure attractant as well as food and water to minimize undue risk of harm to the animal. Once captured, the animal is relocated to an appropriate site away far from homes and businesses. In addition, we can also complete most proofing repairs to prevent further pest incursions.

Trap Monitoring

Our recomended nuisance animal trapping program includes regularly scheduled weekly check-back services to supervise and make adjustments as needed.  it is important for the customer to check the trap daily to insure the welfare of the animal. Promptly call the office when an animal has been caught.

Raccoons being mammals are subject to many of the same diseases and illnesses that affect humans and other mammals. The two illnesses most commonly associated with raccoons are distemper and rabies.
